Compensation & Benefits

The current NADP Compensation Plan which includes salary rates and length of program for all new hires is below.


  • ​The list of current pay grades and program lengths for the NADP program is available on the NADP Compensation Plan document.
  • Rates shown on the OPM website are for new hires starting on or after 1 January 2020.
  • Qualifications identified on the document referenced above are in addition to any Individual Occupational Requirements as listed in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Handbook.
  • The grade level offered to a selected applicant is determined based upon the certificate of eligible candidates that the applicant is selected from.
  • Total salary is a combination of Base Salary (GS grade/step) listed above and Local Market Supplements (LMS) which range from 15.06% to 38.17%.  Some job series have a Special Salary Rate Table, which will list total salary as a whole (no LMS).  To view salary tables, visit the OPM pay and leave website.
  • Individuals hired und the NADP-WW program are eligible for a recruiting incentive up to $5,000.
