The Resources Management Division is comprised of 13 personnel and is responsible for: formulation and execution of the NAVINSGEN budget; management of office spaces; Information Technology (IT) resources to include computers, scanners, printers, facsimile machines, copiers, land and cellular telephones; management and execution of the Defense Travel System (DTS) Program; Government Travel Card Program; Government Purchase Card Program; Civilian and Military Personnel Systems; execution of NAVINSGEN Managers’ Internal Control Program (MICP); timekeeping functions; and management of all administrative support. The Division also executes the DON Audit Follow-up Program for the Under Secretary of the Navy which includes mediating disputed recommendations contained in Naval Audit Service (NAVAUDSVC) reports and serves as the central liaison with DoDIG and the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on audit matters involving the DON.
