The Department of the Navy Office of Small Business Programs prides itself on assigning representatives to attend and speak at multiple small business events throughout the year as a part of our efforts to provide the highest quality of support to small business owners and entrepreneurs. The information below shows all of the events that the DoN OSBP and the Major Buying Commands will be attending, speaking at, or sponsoring during the year.   • Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium 2018 (VETS)

    June 11-14

    The Goal: Provide the knowledge and relationships needed for Veterans to transition into Business Owners to service the Federal Government.

    The Difference: The VETS agenda is crafted by Veterans already doing business with the Federal government—Veteran Entrepreneurs who have walked in your shoes.​

    VETS 18 will bring together Federal agencies, Prime contractors, and Veterans to discuss how to take full advantage of the Federally mandated contracting opportunities set aside specifically for Veteran-owned small businesses.



  • Annual Hawaii Small Business Forum

    June 12

    The Forum brings together representatives from various government agencies to discuss contracting opportunities and updates to small businesses looking to start or expand opportunities as a government contractor.​​



  • U.S. Women’s Chamber Summer Summit

    June 14

    The 9th Annual National Small Business Contracting Summit | Southeast Conference, presented jointly by The American Small Business Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce, being held in Charleston, SC.
    This popular event boasts a robust agenda that includes:

    • Increased focus on making sure small business federal contractors secure our fair share of federal contracting (taxpayer) dollars
    • Access to federal agencies and prime contractors (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the list of agencies and prime contractors who have been invited
    • Timely education and information on current trends, opportunities and threats to small business contractors
    • Legal education important for teaming, joint ventures and related topics
    • Connections to potential teaming and joint venture partners
