The Department of the Navy Office of Small Business Programs prides itself on assigning representatives to attend and speak at multiple small business events throughout the year as a part of our efforts to provide the highest quality of support to small business owners and entrepreneurs. The information below shows all of the events that the DoN OSBP and the Major Buying Commands will be attending, speaking at, or sponsoring during the year.   • Department of the Navy Gold Coast Small Business Procurement Event

    August 22 - 23


    The San Diego Chapter of NDIA (National Defense Industrial Association) is proud to present the NDIA 29th Department of the Navy Gold Coast Small Business Procurement Event.

    The purpose of the Department of the Navy Gold Coast is to provide a forum to educate, guide, and assist businesses, especially small businesses, in working with the government, primarily the Department of Defense.

    NDIA is working to bring Informative and motivating speakers to present topics of interest regarding working with the government, specifically the Department of the Navy. Plan on attending exciting and relevant general/plenary and break-out sessions. Visit over 250 industry and government exhibitors along with dozens of posters containing company information and opportunities. There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking.

  • Navy Week – Salt Lake City

    September 11-17


    During a Navy Week, 75-100 outreach events are coordinated with corporate, civic, government, education, media, veterans, community service and diversity organizations in the city. The Blue Angels, the Navy Parachute Team, bands, divers, Seabees, EOD teams, crews of ships and submarines that are named after the city or state or have a tie to the area, hometown Sailors, medical personnel, environmental displays, USS Constitution Sailors and equipment, and Navy recruiting assets all have participated in the Navy Week program.

  • Modern Day Marine

    September 19-21


    Modern Day Marine is co-sponsored by Marine Corps Base, Quantico, the Exposition’s home base. MCB Quantico, home to the Combat Development Command and the Marine Corps Systems Command, is responsible for setting requirements, developing equipment and systems and purchasing the equipment and systems that the Marine Corps will rely on in the years to come. These vital and unique functions play a large part in positioning Modern Day Marine as the premier military equipment, systems, services and technology exposition.
