Aggregates federal acquisition content by providing one website for regulations, systems, resources, opportunities, and training.
Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
The System for Award Management (SAM) is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. There is NO fee to register for this site. Entities may register at no cost directly from this page.
Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE)
The sole purpose of the Website is to assist in the identification of companies that have been assigned a CAGE Code. The data reflected in these lists is intended to be used for informational purposes only.
Dun and Bradstreet – Data Universal Numbering Systems (DNS)
Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) provides a D-U-N-S Number, a unique nine digit identification number, for each physical location of your business. D-U-N-S Number assignment is FREE for all businesses required to register with the US Federal government for contracts or grants.
Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS)
This is generally a self-certifying database. The SBA does not make any representation as to the accuracy of any of the data included, other than certifications relating to 8(a) Business Development, HUBZone or Small Disadvantaged Business status. The SBA strongly recommends that contracting officers diligently review a bidder's small business self-certification before awarding a contract.

E-Verify
A presidential Executive order and subsequent Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) rule required federal contractors to use E-Verify to electronically verify the employment eligibility of employees working under covered federal contracts.

FBO.gov aka FedBizOps
A search engine for federal contracting opportunities.
FPDS
All contract listing and modifications whose estimated value is $3,000 or more or that may be $3,000 or more.
Federal Supply Schedule (FSS)
Under delegated authority by GSA, the VA manages 9 multiple award contracts for medical equipment, supply, pharmaceutical, and service Schedule programs.  With over $10 billion in sales, the VA FSS Service supports the healthcare requirements of the VA and other federal government agencies by providing customers with access to over 1 million state-of-the-art commercial products and services.

Marine Corps Exchange (MCX)
Marine Corps Exchanges provide a full line of retail products to active duty Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, and Airmen; as well as to their family members, retirees, and other authorized patrons. Navy Electronic Commerce Online
This site is your link to the world of Navy Electronic Business Opportunities. NECO is the centerpiece of the Navy's paperless process strategy (GILS Number: 001482).
Vendors should register with NECO to Submit Bids and receive Daily Procurement Opportunities. NECO Registration requires a valid CAGE Code, which can be obtained from the SAM System.

a world-wide $2 billion plus chain of retail stores, hotels, offering a wide variety of services as well as the Navy Uniform program and Ships Store program.
Navy SeaPort-e
SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management.  The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders.  The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members.  All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform.  Since nearly 85% of its contract–holders are small businesses, the SeaPort-e approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the Nation’s engine of job growth.
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy.
Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs)
Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) serve as a resource for businesses pursuing and performing under government contracts, including contracts with the Department of Defense, other federal agencies, state  and local  governments and with government prime contractors.

DoD Integrated Product and Process Development Handbook
Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD) evolved in industry as an outgrowth of efforts such as Concurrent Engineering to improve customer satisfaction and competitiveness in a global economy.  In May 1995, consistent with the Department of Defense (DoD) efforts to implement best commercial practices, the Secretary of Defense directed "a fundamental change in the way the Department acquires goods and services.  The concepts of IPPD and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) shall be applied throughout the acquisition process to the maximum extent practicable."
