CES Mission

Command Element Systems (CES) provides and sustains command, control, communications and intelligence capabilities to the MAGTF.

GCES Mission

Ground Combat Element Systems (GCES) equips and sustains the Marine Corps with fully integrated infantry, reconnaissance, armor and fire support weapons systems to increase the lethality of the Ground Combat Element. In partnership with stakeholders, GCES executes the in-service support of fielded equipment to ensure readiness.

LCES Mission

Logistics Combat Element Systems (LCES) equips and sustains Marine Forces with supply, maintenance, ammunition and engineering systems in order to enable success in current and future operations.

SES Mission

Supporting Establishment Systems (SES) delivers high-quality, effective information technology solutions in a timely and efficient manner.

PM LAV Mission

The Program Manager for the Light Armored Vehicle (PM LAV) sustains and modernizes the Family of Light Armored Vehicles. PM LAV is comprised of multi-functional acquisition associates who are responsible for the lifecycle management of United States military and foreign allies programs.

PM TRASYS Mission

The Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS) improves the warfighting effectiveness of the MAGTF and globally deployed Marine Corps expeditionary forces by providing training support, and developing and sustaining training systems and devices.

Affiliated PEOs

Program Executive Officer (PEO) Land Systems (LS)

Program Executive Officer (PEO) Land Systems (LS) Marine Corps is located in Building 2210, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., and is the Corps only PEO. PEO LS is a separate command, reporting directly to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research Development and Acquisition ASN (RDA). PEO LS’ integral relationship with Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) leverages infrastructure, competencies and technical authority.

Protection (JPM P)

The Joint Program Executive Officer for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) provides research, development, acquisition, fielding, and life cycle support of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Equipment, Medical Countermeasures and Installation, and Force Protection Integrated Capabilities supporting the national strategies. The Joint Project Manager for Protection (JPM P), one of eight JPMs under the JPEO-CBD, provides the Department of Defense and other customers, such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with the protection required to effectively conduct active combat, consequence management, and homeland defense operations in CBRN environments. JPM P develops, fields, and sustains CBRN protection and hazard mitigation capabilities for the nation. In addition, JPM P is the Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) CBRN Survivability Trail Boss. The MDAP Trail Boss facilitates the research, development, testing, procurement, operations and sustainment, and delivery of CBRN survivability and force protection systems in support of all programs designated as CBRN mission critical and those requiring CBRN capabilities.

Global Combat Support Systems-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)

Marine Corps Systems Command provides administrative, professional and technical, budget and contractual support for Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), which also falls under Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS). GCSS-MC, located in Stafford, Va., is chartered to deliver integrated functionality and a logistics software demonstration evaluation. This is implemented through the maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf software, enterprise application integration and middleware software, and web portal software.

OFFICE OF SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS (OSBP)

The Marine Corps Systems Command Office of Small Business Programs is the gateway for small businesses. This includes veteran-owned, service-disabled, HUBZone, small disadvantaged and women-owned small businesses. Over the last five years, the office has met or exceeded nearly all of its federal small-business targets. Small business and a competitive, healthy industrial base are vital to the long-term success and affordability of the Department of the Navy as well as our national security.
