Class Deviation 2016-O0005 - Enhanced Authority to Acquire Products and Services of Djibouti (02/04/2016)

Summary:  This class deviation requires contracting officers to limit competition to, or provide a preference for, products of services of Djibouti for procurements in support of DoD operations in the Republic of Djibouti (Djibouti)  This class deviation supersedes Class Deviation 2014-O0005 to implement section 1263 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2015, Enhanced Authority to Acquire Goods and Services of Djibouti in Support of DoD Activities in the United States Africa Command Area of Responsibility, as amended by section 886(c) of the NDAA for FY 2016.  This class deviation will remain in effect until September 30, 2018, unless incorporated in the DFARS or otherwise rescinded.
