    Thank you for your role in the Department's efforts to conduct a high quality and energetic solicitation on behalf of the charities listed in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).  We appreciate your patience during the recent government furlough when activities were suspended.
     
    Department of Defense employees are advised that CFC campaign activities in the Continental United States may now resume.   We wish you much success as you carry on a vigorous campaign to help those people who rely upon these local, national and international charities. 
     
  • In the aftermath of the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard, the Navy has established an Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) at the Joint Base Anacostia-Boiling and Washington Navy Yard for affected personnel and their families.  This article contains information and resources for those affected by this tragedy.
