Primary Job Resposibilities

The NAWCADLKE Counsel will be expected to perform and oversee the full range of the Department of the Navy's Office of the General Counsel (OGC) practice areas with an emphasis on federal acquisition law. Other practice areas include: civilian personnel law; FOIA/Privacy Act matters; fiscal law; ethics and standards of conduct; technical data rights; SBIR; work for private party agreements; litigation; and other administrative law matters. Along with providing advice and representing Department of Navy interests in the most complex cases and matters, the incumbent will supervise four civilian attorneys and one support staff personnel.
